Baby Photography...

I am finding that baby photography might be the hardest thing to do. When you don't have a studio, a great camera or a good flash... things just don't work for you. But when you have a precious baby to shoot, you might snap a few good ones!! Here are some pics of my neighbor and her new little girl, Mara, (I just love taking her picture).

Hungry...

One thing I am honestly looking forward to is not being hungry 24/7. Seriously, I wake up at 4:00 in the morning and my stomach is in knots because I am so hungry. I always have some graham crackers sitting by my bed, I eat whatever I can find in the dark and go back to bed. Annoying. Baby C must be a big baby with a hearty appetite!! ha!

Summer is over and life is sad in the Cunningham household. Drew is hard back at work and school and I am working more hours. My sweet husband is now working 3 jobs plus his scholarship requirements... which means I get to spend about 4 minutes a day with him. Oh goody!! Can you tell I am having a really bad attitude?? I admit, I am. But I am working on it... and honestly things could be much worse. The nice part is that he will be able to watch baby c three days a week while I go to work.

Sometimes I cannot believe that there is a human inside of me. I mean, how is this possible?? And isn't he or she squashed? I mean my belly isn't THAT large. I wouldn't want to be squashed in a belly! Seriously! What is even creepier is that all of us, EVERY SINGLE HUMAN you have ever seen was once squashed in a woman's belly!! CRAZY!!!

It's late...

Time for an update…

Blog Stalking
Man, it’s been a while since I really posted. Don’t worry I am still blog stalking everyone. ☺ While we are on the topic, I will admit it, I am a blog stalker. Drew thinks I am so weird but I have to explain to him that I am not the only one who does this. Come on all of you blog stalkers out there… admit it! Sometimes I find myself reading about peoples lives that I don’t even know. I will be crying on the couch while reading someone’s terribly sad blog and Drew just knows to not even ask what I am doing. Oh well… If you read my blog I love it! leave a comment!

In other news… Charlie Hall’s new C.D.
The new Charlie Hall C.D. is out and I just love it. My favorite song is Hookers and Robbers. If you haven’t heard the C.D. I would download it or buy it soon. It is definitely a very different Charlie Hall but in a good way. You can feel the emotion and the passion that he and his band put into so many of their songs. I, along with my husband, really respect them.

6 More Weeks WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
Welp... we are just about 34 weeks pregnant and that is just wild. That means in 6 weeks we will have a little baby in our house. YIKES!! My belly gets larger every day and I have just started thinking of it as humorous. I had a really hard time with getting larger at first, but I know that it’s my little baby in there growing not just me (though some of it is me). I will most definitely be sad when I have to give up my daily Oreos and daily bowl of ice cream… but for now, I will enjoy them ☺

Baby’s room…
The baby’s room is basically finished… I don’t know what else to do honestly. I must admit that it is not the ideal baby room, but we don’t have the space and most definitely don’t have the money to spend too much on the room. Drew is also sharing the baby’s room, so he has his desk with all of his music equipment in there. (I am praying that he will eventually move his desk out, but for now, it’s staying). So the room doesn’t have a rocking chair and the shelves I have actually built into the closet, but I don’t think baby will mind. We wont be here past the baby being 2 and we don’t “plan” on having another baby until baby C is 2.5 so we shall see.
Man I just rambled.

Oh… lets get some thoughts on names.
We are 70% sure on these (this means they could change again any day)

Boy: Cruz Elijah
Girl: Carsyn Rae

I just love them ☺

Going Back...

Do you ever wish you could have a re-do? Just to go back to a moment in your past and changed something. Either a split moment or maybe even an entire season. I often times wish I could go back to my Western Civilization Class or my Anthropology of Religion class and just spend more time. Soaking up all of the good knowledge and enjoying being taught. Instead of being a cool sophomore or a Senior on my way out. Oh well. I guess I still have all of the books and I could go back and read them... but the professors are what made the difference.

Anyways, what about encounters with people? Do you ever wish you could have just hugged someone a little tighter the last time you saw them. OR do you wish you could have shared that piece of your mind with them. I catch myself replaying the oldest conversations in my head... thinking if I would have only said THIS! Oh well, can't change it now.

Baby Moon…

With a break in visitors Drew and decided we needed to take a day or two away and rekindle our relationship and just spend some time focusing on one another before baby C arrives. So we booked a hotel room in our favorite town Santa Cruz California and headed down Highway One.

It was such a beautiful day, the time of the day when the fog is just starting to burn off and the sun is reminding us of his enormous and hot presence. We arrive in SC just in time to lay on the beach to soak up some rays. After having to move away from a group of teens that felt the need to drop the F bomb every 5 seconds we were content. Well, for an hour at least until baby c would no longer let me lay out and Drew decided he would rather be surfing or sitting under am umbrella in a lawn chair then laying in the sand. Ha! That evening we enjoyed some yummy pizza (THE ONLY THING I CRAVE THESE DAYS) at a hole in the wall pizza place and a fat piece of chocolate cake from Safeway. Sadly we spent the evening flipping thru the channels because we no longer have a working television at home. It was so funny to catch up with all of the election stuff and DISCUSTING to realize how many crazy bizarre shows are out there. Yuck. I hate the television.

The next day we went to another fun little town called Capitola. This town is so precious and I honestly want to raise my children here. It’s right on the beach giving a bit of the So Cal feel, but still small enough to feel like home. Love it. Anyways, Drew and I were reading on a bench when we encountered the cutest thing. This little boy, 6 ½ years old, comes running by with a surf board in hand and paddles out for a wave. His dad sits down beside us and begins to cheer him on and direct him to where some good swell is coming in. Keep in mind this kid is 6 ½ and he is tiny. He has shaggy bleach blonde hair and Drew and I couldn’t help but stare and dream that some day this would be us with our little boy. If you know Drew you know that he is 30% human 70% surfer. That’s it. He absolutely loves surfing with everything in him. If he wouldn’t have married me he would have married his surfboard, I’m serious! Anyways, this kid was so precious and it was so fun to watch Drew’s eyes light up as he began to imagine some day teaching our little one to surf. On our way home we talked about me not being an over protective mom and letting Drew take our little one surfing when he/she is like 4!! I was freaking out thinking NO WAY my baby is going in that big ocean with those mean ol’ great white sharks at 4 years old. But, I have to let him if he wants and I know Drew will make sure this is what he or she wants. Ha! Anyways, I think it’s so funny that we keep talking about this baby as if it is a boy. Watch it be the girliest girlie girl that you have ever seen. Oh we would love her as well!!

Anyways, I hope that everyone is well. Here are the only pics we took on the trip ha. ☺
