Mommy Hood...
Will brushing my teeth ever be a priority again? Sometimes when I am brushing my teeth before bed I realize that this is my first time to brush my teeth for the day... Yikes.
What about make up??

To Be Blond or NOT to be Blond...
(FYI-this post is incredibly shallow sorry)
Did you know you can spell "Blond" b.l.o.n.d. or b.l.o.n.d.e and it means the same thing.

I have a confession to make. I am sorry if anyone has been lead to beleive differently. But here is goes...
I HIGHLIGHT MY HAIR.

I am sure you all knew this because there aren't many true blondes anymore these days. My whole life my hair has been blonde. I didn't start highlighting it until maybe my senior year of High School to just add some extra spice to my life. At 18 why did I need extra spice?? Who knows.
Anyways... over the past 6 years my hair has gotten darker and darker... and finally after having Carsyn I am almost positive that I do not have one real strand of blonde left.
I am okay with this, but our budget isn't. I either go brown now and don't worry about keeping up with my hair or I keep dying it blonde and paying the bucks.
SO... I need some opinions... Do I go along with the trend and stay blonde?? OR do I stick with my roots (ha) and go brown!!
ALSO, I need an opinion on bangs... do I get swoopy bangs again or grow them out. One of these pictures I have bangs and then the one where I have the fluffy jacket on, no bangs... I need your thoughts friends.
Here you can really see my bangs... and you can notice my hair is getting darker. Umm.. or I just hadn't showered in a few days because we were camping. Yuck

No longer coveting...
So today Carsyn and I had a LOT of time on our hands. It was foggy up to our window and outside did not look fun. Drew was gone all morning so we had some time to waste.
I admit I spend A LOT of my time looking at blogs, mostly photographers and coveting their skills. But, I have made a resolution; to no longer want to be like these photographers... I am going to make myself like them! I read things all the time about how to up my skills but I honestly have not put into action a lot of the things I have learned.
So, now that I am no longer 9 months pregnant I have the freedom to roll around on my belly and shoot all kinds of photos! Today I have decided when I am discouraged about my photos to just go out and shoot some more!!
Here are some fun photo's I got of Carsyn this morning. The light was terrible in our living room but hey, we are working with what we've got here.

Advent Conspiracy...
Have you seen this video?? I stole it from my friend Hannah's site but wanted to share it! It really makes you think about how nasty (lack of a better word) we are as American consumers. But also reminds me to bring our focus solely to Christ and his gift to mankind this Christmas.
Drew and I have been talking lately about how we are not going to be able to buy real gifts this year for Christmas. Having Carsyn and me not working for the next two months makes for a tight budget. We are traveling to the Midwest for 2 and half weeks for Christmas to visit with family, but that also means, no work, so, no pay.
Anyways, after watching this video I am feeling inspired with ideas for Christmas! I am going to brain storm over the next few weeks and start posting ideas of gifts for the people that we love!!
